The location was great and lovely, just 5 minutes walk from a colchester castle. This hotel was set in a lovely area. They gave me a freshly renovated room with the bathroom and very good value for money and a huge balcony.

The location of this hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the city. It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and modern, and our room had a large bathroom which was a plus.
One of the issues we encountered during our stay was the lack of air conditioning. It was quite uncomfortable to have to choose between opening the window and dealing with the noise from the street or keeping the window closed and feeling the heat.

The room was spacious and immaculately clean, with a balcony that offered a stunning view of Colchester.
